Many of you know Katharine Nohr as the witty lady who makes us laugh with her unintentional (intentional?) humor during membership luncheon speeches. You probably know that she is an insurance defense attorney and you may have heard her speak about insurance law in the past. She has served on the board as President (fed us M&M’s for a year) and has been involved with many of the committees within the board…currently serving as chair of the FUN-draising Committee and Programs Committee. She’s also had many articles written and published in past issues of Aloha Notes. Did you know that she is also an author?

She is professionally known as Katharine M. Nohr, Esq., and has been an attorney with more than 20 years under her belt, or stilettos. Her areas of expertise are in premises liability, motor vehicles, and coverage but she is particularly well versed in handling negligence cases for insurance companies involving matters of sports.

She has just recently released her first book titled “Managing Risk in Sport and Recreation : The Essential Guide for Loss Prevention”

We are very proud to have her as a part of our association and we excitedly CONGRATULATE her on the release of her new book! Please give her a high-five the next time you see her…um, and tell everyone to buy her book =P
